Nampa Christian Housing, Inc. was founded in Nampa, Idaho in the late 1960s by members of the Nampa First Christian Church. Their mission was to build an apartment complex which would serve as affordable housing for low-income seniors in the area. Using the HUD 202 program, these founders designed and build an apartment building like none ever seen in Nampa. Golden Glow Tower opened in 1969 with 64 rooms, including a live-in manager unit, a common area, and laundry facility.
Nampa Christian Housing is in the process of building additional low-income housing for senior and elderly people in the Treasure Valley.
